The chapter is concerned and aware of the risks of the coronavirus. We will continue to provide our face to face events but nothing is more important than the health and safety of our members. We will assure that the facilities we use for our events are following guidelines to protect our health.
We recommend the following guidelines for our attendees:
Self quarantine – If you travel abroad, don’t attend public events for at least 14 days after you return from your travel. If you are already registered for one of our events, we will provide a full refund of your registration fee.
Don’t attend if you are experiencing symptoms - fever, cough, or shortness of breath; have been exposed to the virus through another event, or individual known to have been exposed.
Wash hands and sanitize often.
Avoid physical contact with others – use the elbow bump when greeting others.
We will continually monitor conditions to identify changes that are required for our events.

PMI-ACP? is the fastest growing
certification in PMI history with more than 28,000
certification holders. This is not a fad! It is the new
reality!! Employer demand for agile project management
skills are driving career opportunities. Being a PMP? gets
you the interview but knowing Agile can get you the job!
The good news is that many PMP’s are more qualified than
they realize. You may not be using Agile vocabulary,
but you are using core Agile practices like Rolling Wave
Planning, Progressive Elaboration, and Decomposition.
Did you know that the research in Dan Pink’s renown book
“DRiVE” revealed part of why Agile works? In DRiVE the
core principle that Knowledge Workers – the kind you have
on your teams – are motivated by Autonomy, Master and
Purpose. If you want to AMP your team up, then be sure
they have Autonomy, Master and Purpose. Coincidentally,
agile pivots to success by integrating best practices that
deliver those 3 elements.
But there are three questions you should
be asking yourself.
Am I among the many successful PMPs using core Agile
practices without knowing it?
Am I waiting for an “Important and Urgent” crisis –
like an unexpected “career transition” – to prove 7
Habits was right?
Do I really think that Google, Amazon, Facebook and
Apple (GAFA) haven’t changed my customer’s
expectations and therefore my career needs?
You do not have to be a PMP or hold an Agile certification
to get great value from this blended-learning course – 8
hours instructor-led classroom + 14 hours self-paced
online – that provides 22 hours of training in Agile
practices. This learning format was specifically
designed to provide the best of self-paced study combined
with Instructor-led class time.
